Fun & Movement
4 drills · 45 min
Ball Tag
10 minPlayers dribble freely. One player is 'it' and tries to tag others by touching them with the ball. Tagged players do 3 toe taps then rejoin.
Shark Attack
10 minAll players dribble inside a square. Coach is the 'shark' who tries to kick balls out. If your ball goes out, do 5 ball taps then come back in.
Dribble Freeze
10 minPlayers dribble around. When coach says 'freeze,' everyone stops the ball with the sole of their foot. Last one to stop does a funny dance.
Free Play Scrimmage
15 min3v3 or 4v4 on a small field with mini goals. No positions, no offsides, just let them play and have fun.
Coaching Tips
Keep it fun. No lines. Every child should have a ball. Praise effort and participation, not results. Use animal names and stories to explain drills.
Equipment: Size 3 balls (1 per player), 10 cones, 4 small goals or cones for goals
