This Cookie Policy explains how Centro ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit withcentro.com (the "Website"). This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy (withcentro.com/privacy), which explains how we handle your personal data.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the website owners. We use cookies for the following purposes:

Essential functionality: To keep you signed in, protect against cross-site request forgery, and maintain your session as you navigate between pages. These cookies are strictly necessary for the Website to operate.

Remembering your preferences: To remember your language setting (English or Spanish) and other display preferences so you don't have to set them each time you visit.

Understanding usage: To collect data about how visitors interact with the Website, such as which pages are most visited and how visitors navigate the site. This helps us improve the Website's design and content.

Identifying business visitors: To work out which organizations — soccer clubs, leagues, and academies — are researching Centro, so our small team can follow up with the ones evaluating us. This is described in full in Section 4 below.

These cookies are necessary for the Website to function and cannot be disabled. They include session management cookies, authentication tokens, and security cookies (such as CSRF protection).

These cookies remember your settings and choices to provide a more personalized experience.

Analytics Cookies (Optional)

These cookies help us understand how visitors use our Website — which pages get read, which links get clicked, and how quickly pages load. We use this to improve the Website, not to build advertising profiles.

• Providers: Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics 4, and PostHog (all third-party)
• Duration: Session up to 1 year, depending on the provider
• Purpose: Page views, clicks on links and buttons, performance metrics

Website Visitor Identification (Optional)

This is the one technology on the Website designed to identify who is visiting rather than simply count visits, so it is described separately and in full in Section 4.

• Provider: Apollo.io, and LiveIntent as Apollo's identity partner (third-party)
• Storage used: Browser local storage (a random visitor id and a queue of pending page-visit events), plus cookies set by LiveIntent
• Duration: Up to 1 year
• Controlled by: The Analytics toggle in Cookie Preferences

4. Website Visitor Identification (Apollo)

We use Apollo.io, a third-party sales intelligence provider, to identify the organizations that visit this Website. Apollo's script runs on our public marketing pages and sends Apollo a record of each page you view, along with your IP address, the site that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed.

Company-level identification

Apollo matches your IP address against its database of business networks to work out which company or organization you are browsing from. That tells us, for example, that a soccer club in Texas read our pricing page. It does not tell us your name. This applies to visitors worldwide.

Person-level identification

Where Apollo supports it, the same script also attempts to identify individual visitors. To do that it loads a second script from LiveIntent, Apollo's identity partner, which looks up a hashed (irreversible) form of an email address associated with your browser and attaches it to the page-visit records sent to Apollo. Apollo can then match that hash to a person in its own contact database. Apollo currently offers this only for visitors located in the United States; elsewhere, only company-level identification applies.

What we do with it

We use it to understand which clubs, leagues, and academies are evaluating Centro. We do not run automated outreach from it: identified visitors are not enrolled in email sequences, and we do not auto-send email, text messages, or calls because someone read a page.

How to turn it off

Switch off Analytics Cookies in Cookie Preferences (see Section 5). Apollo's script is not loaded at all while analytics is off. You can also read Apollo's privacy policy and LiveIntent's privacy policy, which carries its own opt-out.

4b. Cookies We Do NOT Use

We want to be transparent about what we don't do:

• We do NOT use advertising cookies, and we do not run ads on this Website
• We do NOT use social media tracking pixels (no Facebook Pixel, no Twitter tags)
• We do NOT use retargeting or remarketing cookies
• We do NOT sell cookie data, and we do not share it with advertisers
• We do NOT use Google advertising products such as Google Ads or Google Ad Manager. We do use Google Analytics 4 for site measurement, as listed in Section 3.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time:

On our Website: Click "Cookie Preferences" in the footer of any page to update your choices.

In your browser: You can set your browser to block or alert you about cookies. Instructions vary by browser:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies

• Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions

Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Website from functioning correctly.

6. Cookie Consent

When you first visit our Website, we display a cookie consent banner asking for your permission to set optional cookies. Your choices are saved in a cookie (centro-cookie-consent) for up to 1 year. You can change your preferences at any time using the method described in Section 5.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that requires consent before setting non-essential cookies, we will not set optional cookies until you provide consent.
